The story focuses on Arlec, a young adventurer who opts to retire early after events from his past rocks the foundations of the world. He opens a small shop to escape his worries and past, but his closed-off chapter resumes as he saves an old man and agrees to help him find his son. This forces him to take up the mantle that he has once thrown away to repay his debts, putting things in motion. Meanwhile, the consequences of his actions a few years back bear down upon him heavily and continue to throw him into a spiral.
