Cal was deep in the jungles of Mexico, contemplating his future when an influx of Mana altered the world. A system prompt asked if he wanted to enter the tutorial, but not trusting what he thought was Aliens, he declined.

Earthquakes massaged the bones of planet Earth, opening hidden pathways and chambers that were lost centuries ago. Inside these ruins stirred an ancient force. It's primordial vitality echoed out across the continent, winding through the jungle, raising long dead warriors.

And as Cal made it back to his class, those Aztec warriors returned from the grave. Vibrant and healthy, eyes glowing with a haze of bloodlust, they maimed and killed. What was Cal to do but flee? Unknowingly heading towards an ancient Aztec pyramid that sheltered a feathered serpent.
