After the Angdem warII (a war which took place between angels and demons for territory), a place was created where the benevolent souls(Angels) and Malevolent beings(Demons) coexisted. But the war had severe side effects and hence the offspring produced were regared as mutant or cripple(only in the story, no offense). They were devoid of spiritual powers and hence were outcasted by the spiritual realm. One of them was devoid of wings too and hence was considered extremely unlucky. But one day his fate was finally decided and a new life awaited him.
