A water witch named Lilith Moonfell loses her mother due to illness at a young age. She ends up meeting an older man of the cloth in her grief and the two fall in love. They decide to run away and they get separated when they are attacked by bandits. She travels to look for him while avoiding the temptations of a demon named Alrath who wants to have a contract with her after saving them.
