As the crown prince of Elysia, Neil wants to make his kingdom a better place. He wants to meet and connect with the people of his kingdom, have a normal conversation with someone for once, and grow stronger as a swordsman. Held back by his position and confined to the castle grounds out of concern for his safety, Neil escapes on the night of his 16th birthday to finally pursue his goals before it's too late. Accompanied by James, a young member of the royal guard, the two venture into the outside world while being pursued by a search party on the orders of the King.
The Prince of Elysia is a coming-of-age story that explores the concepts of freedom versus safety, accepting oneself and others, overcoming adversity, and how far people will go to pursue their goals and desires.
