One day while walking home from school, Haruki and Juno were transported from their easygoing modern life to a fantasy world. Tasked with defeating the demon king as the summoned hero and priestess, the pair sets off on a grand new adventure!

The only problem... almost 10 months in, and no progress has been made!

"Hi, were we not supposed to try to fend off the demons? Why are you picking up girls instead??? And why am I being forgotten????? Aren't my buffs the only reason you underleveled wimps can stay alive against these monsters?"

As the sole voice of reason in this group of idiots, Juno has to piece together a coherent plan to actually complete the mission assigned to them, and maybe get home along the way. Though with the constant infighting between the harem of one-night stands that don't understand the concept of "one," and the increasing level gap between the hero and his enemies, things are starting to look grim.

"If the useless hero won't find a way to end this, then I'll take matters into my own hand instead!"
