Four years have passed since Forensic Psychologist Dr. Ash Walters walked away from his consulting job for Youngstown Police Department, but a new crime has come across the homicide desk, one involving the brutal slaying of a college student, shot to death while asleep in his bed. Ash wishes he could ignore the case, but the suspect turns out to be his own estranged son, Scott. Ash refuses to believe that his son is capable of such a cold-blooded crime.
