One day in a remote part of New York, a lab that contained a very dangerous virus got blown up. This virus infected everybody and killed 10% of the world's population and changed 50% of the remaining population in a strange way. This is the story of how a boy tries to adapt to his new vampiric situation.

This novel has the same plot as my other story, The Change.
