I hated myself.

I hated the world.

I hated everything.

But then, I was given a "new everything".

I, along with my family, their friends, and a thousand other people, are sent to a different world.

A large majority of people decided to cling to our old world.

But others, like me, shed away the us of before, and became reborn.

We thought we'd be able to live normally, but a playful god gave us our deepest desires, in an unpredictable way.

Some could fly, some could become invisible, and some made pigeons out of thin air.

But I, who disliked myself, became everything I thought I wasn't.

I, who didn't want to be me, could become anything.
