Waking up strapped to a metal capsule barrelling towards the earth at ungodly speeds was definitely not how Wan wanted to start off his day.

And neither was discovering that the world was no longer anything but a barren waste scarred by a cataclysm from a time he had no recollection of.

So when Wan encounters an eccentric trio of survivors who offers him the chance to uncover the truth behind his current predicament, he is all too happy to accept.

Joining this band of survivors who call themselves the Watchers, Wan embarks on a quest to descend the mysterious eleven underground levels of the Staircases of Naraka, where dangerous beings known as the Fallen Eleven await.

It is on this journey that Wan will face countless dangers, encounter cruel and terrible foes, and discover the truth behind the devastation of the planet.
