Opalcreek is dying. Built on the fringe of the Sylphid forest it is besieged from within and without.

After news of his Father's sickness reaches him, Dalan's city life is interrupted and he has returned to his Mother and Sister.

In Opalcreek he finds suspicious strangers, corrupt officials, and a town at the edge of chaos.

Drawn into conspiracies he must fight against powerful forces to avoid the bleak future that would otherwise await him and his town.

Hi, thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy. Updates may take a while as I figure things out. I'll try to keep a pretty tight overarching plot that will hopefully turn into a fun adventure story; with creatures, guilds, politics, and magic. Aiming at 100k words.
