When Makoto Watanabe, a rising light novel writer, is forced to write an Isekai story due to the booming success and easy cash grab stories to milk. Makoto however despises and has no interest in writing one. However, with her whole writing career depending on this book it drives over the deep end and to a sudden suicide. Things only get much worse for her when she awakes in her own light novel reincarnated into the unfinished story for her to play out in as the main protagonist's one of many love interests. It couldn't get much worse for her right? That would be true if she didn't write the world shes in to be destroyed by the evil overlord no matter what the hero does. Then it does get much, much worse.
