A mana powered spaceship carrying a cargo of hyper-adaptive plant life specimens is shot down by a competing company, and the cargo spills out to space. "The plant life will die, no need to clean it up." said the captain as he turned his ship around to report the good news to his boss, happy with his success. Of course through luck, or universal spite, some plants lived long enough to land on the nearby planet. Although considered primitive by the civilisation that had just fought above their skies, which had all but ignored their existance, the inhabitants were sentient, and adept at using mana too.

How will these plants evolve? What will happen to them, and what will happen to the planets inhabitants? These questions will all be answered as we follow one specific plant, the one that first evolved sentience.
