When you're given the chance to wish for anything at all, what would you ask for?

The first thing Noah would ask for is the power to fix this failing world. He's a selfless person that way.

But now the world's gone. He's dead. Abandoned by his past lives. They all knew this was the moment he makes a terrible decision. A decision that chains him to the very evil he had spent his lives fighting against. And they all knew it could not be avoided.

The second thing Noah would want is to burn the whole world down. After all, with no world, there's no responsibility. Nothing to keep him fighting.

But, like the previous decision, there's no world to burn. Just himself. And despite the bone-deep tiredness of his heart, he knows he wants to keep living.

His third option would be the ability to stop caring. If you can't fix it, if you can't burn it down, what even is the point? Just fight, fight, fight. And for what? Another life? Another battle?

But he knows he can't do that. He's got it all figured out in his head, but the head is not the part that makes the wish.

And he knows what he keeps locked in his heart. Deep down, in that walled off part of his soul, he's always wanted to be someone else.

Claw at the face of those who mocked you. And once they're all gone, you turn to the platter and eat that too. Because once you're given another chance, there's not going to be another.
