Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisks her into another world.
You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure, but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria.
Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome?
Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own?

Author note: This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had.
That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @_@ Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated!
Respectfully,
Mhm
