Grif is a semi-professional gamer utilizing the full immersion Virtual reality gaming systems to help treat his trauma caused by nearly a decade of active military service. Service which left his psyche damaged and hardened; only his wife and children keep him tethered to reality, but that tenuous connection is ripped away when a kidnapping imp sent to recruit our world's best gamers against their will takes him to the underworld.
