It's Terran Calendar Year 2199, nearly the turn of the 23rd century. Humanity has developed FTL travel, teleportation, cybernetic enhancement, and other technologies incomprehensible to those even only a hundred years back. Little did humanity know, at the start of next year, things would begin to change.
