Tom 'Tommy' Chapman was a rather average mage in his world, branch-member by a powerful noble family and inheritor of at least a part of two blodlines he had a rather happy youth. Having found his passion in linguistics and just starting his carear as professor in the same, he had it all figured out. That was of course until after a night out partying he finds himself in an unfamiliar forest on the, to him unfamiliar, planet 'earth' which is courently having magic introduced to it in the first place and is going through an 'apocalypse' organised and supervised by the so called Mark of Power SystemTM.

Not having a way back he decides to make the best of this situation and explore this unfamiliar and chaotic world and it's people.
