A prophecy foretold that the king would be attacked and killed in eighteen years time by a member of the Rulan clan. The king gathered an army of a hundred thousand men and set out to the only settlement the Rulan clan had with the objective to kill every man, woman and child of the Rulan clan.

One child survived this calamity and vowed to kill the king. However his path to revenge would not come easy for he will have to climb the ranks of cultivators to do so.
