The best comparison for a Dungeon as a living creature is a spider. They lure in prey and kill them draining away their mana for themselves. The humans are the dominant race of the world and use these dungeons for their own benefit. They fear and respect dungeons, many legends are told of them and cities are build around them. There are dungeons in the world which are said to be the hallways of gods. Dungeons are mysterious and misunderstood creatures. Mostly immortal and non corporeal beings, few achieve sentience.

A small dungeon in the mountains learned to loathe humans at an early age when it was nearly killed by them. It decided then and there that it would become the worlds strongest dungeon even if it took a millennia. Nothing less would do. As the dungeon grows it changes the world, pulling together many races in its long war against humanity. ———————————— Inspired by all the dungeon novels recently, I attempt to create my own!
