For a shapeshifting sky dragon, 53-year-old Ume (梅) is basically just an infant in the eyes of the dragon species. Nobody takes her seriously, and her mom wouldn't let her take a single step outside of their cave. Seriously, being a dragon sucks. All other races are treated as adults at eighteen years old. Why is Ume still forced to sleep in the baby nest??? She's not an egg anymore! Her true form is as large as an aircraft carrier!

After fifty years of being trapped indoors by her mom, Ume finally received permission from her parents to explore the outside universe. However it was only on one condition — as long as she is always accompanied by her evil dragon fiancé, who is incidentally twice her size and ten times her age... moreover he's a loyal vassal of the Demon King and a totally stereotypical bad dragon...

Something was ridiculously wrong with this picture. What ever happened to freedom? Adolescence? Did this count as pedophilia? Ume wasn't even old enough to decide on her gender (Note: dragons in this universe are born as hermaphrodites and choose a gender when they are old enough), but her parents were already shipping her off to be married...

Obviously, the only reasonable answer was to run away to another world!
