Intro

The Gate Books appeared out of nowhere one day, simple leather bound books of six different colors. They changed the way people lived their lives.

The books formed gates into different dimension and worlds where magic filled the fabric of reality. These places the books would take people to were like fantasyland game worlds full of monsters and even treasures. Dungeon diving became big, guilds were formed, friends formed parties with friends, adventures were undertaken. It really was like a real life game.

Hector Espinas was one of the lucky few to actually discover and claim a Gate Book, a book that was one of a kind. He hid it for fear that others might try and take it. He did not intend to keep the book locked away forever, but he had no knowledge of what his special book could do or where it would lead and so he started training his mind and body. Once ready he would step into his first adventure.
