Setting
Distant Future Earth…year 7623 AD
Nuclear Fallout had happened three times, almost causing the extinction of humanity each time. Technology was pretty much had to restart every time, and every time there was a fallout, only the humans that were underground survived, each time they had to wait for nuclear radiation to cool down. Nature always came back in full force while mankind hid. Nature had grown accustom to radiation, mankind had not. The last time man came out of hiding, there was a miscalculation on nuclear decay. Those who had weak bodies died, the strong survived, but it altered the genes of future offspring. Around the year 4513 AD, humans with extraordinary abilities that affected their surrounds, Magicsmen had been discovered.
These people were treated as specials, given authority over normal humans. A few empires had these special people as their leaders. They fell to either to each other or through rebellions. Most rebellions were squashed easily but some not so much. Upon further researcher, it was discovered that these rebellions were lead or had multiple humans with unnatural combat abilities and magic resistance, Anti-magicsmen. The gene was traced to the blood markers, the blood cells were coated in these blood markers, they made a thin protective layer around the cell. Blood markers went either positive or negative, then with the discovery of the Anti-magicsmen it became positive, negative or alpha.
At first the numbers of Anti-magicsmen were small, due to the short life expectancy. It was later realized that intense exercise would expand their lifespan due to their thick blood clogging arteries from time to time from just pooling up in the veins.
The Magicsmen and Anti-magicsmen were able to keep each other in check due to power balance. The normal humans were left out of the equations in most governments, but eventually they got into politics when the population refused to cooperate and caused mass rioting and refusal to conform to government policies.
