Kagami Ken didn't really know whether he could call himself lucky or unlucky.

On one hand, he was born to an EXTREMELY affluent family, and even had (in his opinion) the best little sister in the world.

On the other hand, he was suddenly struck by a one-of-a-kind incurable disease at the age of 10 and was diagnosed to never make it past the age of 13...

He was 23 now though!!

Oh! but he pretty much had to live in a hospital and chug meds like no tomorrow just to cope with the excruciating pain that simply existing brings him...

His parents never even visited him even once...

But he had the best (in his opinion) little sister in the world!!!

So all was well.

Until it wasn't.

No matter how awesome his little sister was, it didn't really change the fact that he was 10 years overdue for that coffin.

Feeling his impending death Ken stumbles upon the Coiling Serpent Charity Association doing some...well... Charity work.

Combined with a sudden urge to do some good with his remaining time left, plus the Association's strange name...

Ken decides to donate every cent in his name to them!

Ken would never expect what this act would do for him!

(You probably would though!)

Hello! I'm Lire, and I'm new to the Writer's world and to Royalroad, so I have a lot to learn.

I've written some short stories during college as a hobby, but I've only ever shared them with some friends.

They said they liked it, but I had a feeling it was lip-service. It still made me happy though!!

This is the first time I'll be posting a story my brain gave birth to anywhere.

Even If I'm writing this story as a hobby, I still plan to give it some modicum of seriousness.

With that said, don't hold back on any constructive criticism. I'm ready to take it!

Comments about any misspelled words are also appreciated. Same with grammar corrections. English is my 3rd language, so it would help me out a lot with getting better in the language. I shall try my best so it happens as little as possible though!

Anything to make my first baby, the best it can possibly be!!

If all you do is diss it, without providing anything constructive, I'm ready to pour my creative juices on making up insults for you, your mother, and all your Ancestors!

...as long as I don't feel too particularly lazy at the time I read it. Also, if your diss makes me laugh while also being true, you get a pass, too. I'll even give you rep.

By the way, this work will be heavily influenced by Japanese Light Novels and Korean Web Novels. I mainly read those kinds of stuff after all.

If you hate those kinds of novels, then please piss off immediately. I don't want to waste you time.

If you like those, then please give my novel a try!

*bows*
