<p>Shade is one of the most powerful beings on the planet, a dragon. But power isn't everything it's hyped up to be.</p> <p>He tried to use his power for good, wanting to change the world for the better, but people fear and hate dragons. Crimes he didn't commit were pinned on him, corruption he exposed covered up. Eventually he gave up on doing things the right way and became a vigilante, killing everyone he deemed evil and becoming one of the most wanted criminals in the world.</p> <p>But after years and years of killing, the world was still a crappy place. More and more evil people popped up every day and he wasn't even sure anymore if the people he had killed deserved it. Eventually, he disappeared without a trace. Years after he disappeared, a fairy claimed he had killed Shade, and when Shade did not come back, people believed him. But it was a lie.</p> <p>The truth is, Shade spends his days pretending to be a human and goes town to town drinking his eyes out, trying to forget the past. Its been 10 years of this with no end in sight. Until one day, while in a random town in the middle of nowhere, after all the bars closed for the night, he senses someone with overwhelming power. Curiosity getting the better of him, he goes to find who this person is. Little did he know that simple curiosity would send him down a path to change the world and force him to face the skeletons from his past he's been trying to drink away.</p>
