The Realms are vast and full of magic. Trained on a magically barren Earth, Duncan is ready to leave, sword in hand, on the adventure he's trained for his entire life.

Duncan has trained with the sword since before he could remember. At first, his revenge-obsessed mother forced it upon him. Then, after she disappeared, he found out he'd been born to wield a sword.

Thankfully, it was time for him to leave the magically barren Earth behind and journey to a new, magical realm called Dintarnum. There, he can use his skills to fight monsters, progress in power, and maybe find answers to some of the questions he was left with after his mother disappeared.

Despite his ride off Earth taking a bit of a wrong turn, Duncan was excited to see what opportunities awaited him in Dintarnum and beyond.

Realm Return has a slow start, with part one of book one (Chapters 1 through 29) being largely dedicated to introducing the setting and characters of the story. Most of the LitRPG elements, such as blue screens and magical Abilities, don't show up until over halfway through part one, but they are a large part of the story thereafter. Expect a slow start leading to a lot of action, loot, and progression. There are no stats in Realm Return.

I am new to creative writing, so any constructive tips or errors you want to point out in the comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! :)

Some things to expect in Realm Return:

Tier progression system with a big focus on combat and non-combat Abilities

Combat and crafting progression

Master-apprentice training

Solo and group combat

Monsters and other magical beings

A large variety of environments through a dungeon-like system

Loot!! Rewards!! Magical Materials!! More Loot!!

Usually release 4 chapters a week. Posts between 7 and 10 PM (EST).
