As the youngest daughter in a family of eight, Rowan Kolb has gotten used to an overlooked existence. It doesn't bother her. No, not at all! She has her friends, and her family has always been supportive of her, when they can. The only thing she wants is to find her place in House Kolb and attending the Summit one day, where she might make a difference.

So, when she's forced to spend a week with Asher Cerullis, the heir to her family's rival House, she should take advantage of the situation. Instead, Rowan forms a close bond with him. She'll have to decide what to do about that before her time with House Cerullis comes to an end.

Oh. And also, aliens have invaded the planet with hostile intent. And civilization might be coming to an end. Maybe Rowan should consider handling those problems too.

******

While this story does include discussions about video games and use of gaming tactics, it is NOT a LitRPG. What readers can expect instead:

-complicated and rewarding relationships between characters

-a MC who uses knowledge gained from video games and speculative fiction to survive the apocalypse

-a slow beginning (the story's antagonist doesn't show up until chapter nine) (Author's Note: I really like taking the time to build a comfy world for my characters before tearing it all down around them, mwahahahaha.)

-LGBT+ characters

-an exploration of several cultures and how their differences impact one another

-a focus of characterization with an enticing story to support them

-slice of life chapters and chapters with heavy action, equally present

-while there will be romantic elements later on, this story is not a romance

Thanks for checking Planetfall out! I'll be updating twice a week.
