~Basically a slow-burning 'magical' science fiction within an RPG/Isekai-esque fantasy setting*~

An operation failed. One survived. Now a foreigner lost and stranded somewhere someplace; alien yet familiar, fantastical yet real. Found and rescued by another, similar but distinct; departed and never seen again. Left alone, yet again. Alien among aliens. Forced to hide and blend in… to a point; hunted, yet not really. Young, yet ancient. Analytical, yet aloof. A mind decayed by time, riddled with contradictions. Masks and faces worn as one, both without identity. A purpose long lost.

Gods scheme upon rotting thrones, shackled to wills beyond their own. Great powers devour their world, cursed with stomachs never satiated. Delusions of fantasy dreamt to swipe away nightmares heralded by shooting stars. The world's play motions forward to the choir's tune as the past withers; the stage evolves and changes, yet remains static and contrived.

Meaningless happenings, given meaning. People found, turned to characters. Memories, turned to story. Events in observation, narrativized. A protagonist found and placed on stage, made to dance the play of it which observes, indifferently yet with ever maddening interest.

Release schedule: Now every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday by 5 pm PST (Pacific Standard Time).

Each 'pars', on average, should be within the 3,500 - 5,000 word range, but some may be considerably longer. Partes exceeding 4,000 words (which is most) will be split into two segments and will be published as two (albeit uneven) chapters.

Notes- This narrative has elements of philosophically absurdist underpinnings and influences, and may not be conventional in some ways.- This story is a slow moving burn, but prone to flaring up, escalating, or even sudden derailments.- There is a strong emphasis on worldbuilding and character psychology.- There are elements of mystery, but largely in the sense of reader engagement and understanding (and confusion).

- This story is starting out with its 'prologue' (Volume – N), which was intended to be a general and broad introduction to the specific aspects of the setting, world, and primary character, and cover the mumbo-jumbo; but it ended up becoming very chunky and long.

- I have taken some creative liberties with respects to grammar and punctuation. But, there might still be actual grammar, spelling, and word issues which I may have missed, and I am prone to making many silly blunders.

- This is planned to be a large series and long-term project.

Hopefully a few will find this project interesting and follow along.
