Our story begins when Iris stumbles across a ripple in the Fabric of Reality, a loose thread of the most fundamental physics of the universe and beyond left dangling into the material realm, a phenomena that scholars and adventurers alike would call a Thread of Power; the source magic for nearly every adventurer in the known lands.</p> <p>Now entangled with the Thread of Power, Iris finds herself with a strange form of teleportation magic, an inexplicably bottomless bag with an attitude problem, and a one-way warp to the unexplored frontiers of the Giantrock Wilderness on the far side of her planet. As a freshly minted Level 1 adventurer in a dangerous new land, Iris will need to level up and learn the ropes of adventuring at a breakneck pace if she hopes to survive. Feel free to shoot me a DM :)</p> <p>Orion's Ballad is a slow-burn mix of LitRPG and Gamelit, set in a medieval high-fantasy world with a rich and deeply detailed magic system. It is an "isekai-lite" that explores and makes use of common isekai tropes and events, but takes place on distant, unexplored continents of a massive world rather than the MC being transported to different world entirely. This story is intended to be a balanced experience of light-hearted adventure and lovable characters alongside real dangers and high stakes.</p> <p>Updated daily Monday - Friday</p>
