Avert your eyes!

Trigger warnings for this piece of fantasy-action-anti hero-tentacle-comedy-horror:

Orgies. So many orgies.

Tentacles used in the way tentacles are usually used.

Potted plants on fire.

Drugs.

A 9-year-old girl on drugs.

A 9-year-old girl who murders people while tripping balls and looking for more drugs. At a public execution.

Did I mention public executions? Well, there are several of those, too.

Camels exploding.

Several rats are murdered during this story, off-stage, however. Probably some dogs, too.

So many people dying in various ways.

I'm serious. So. Many. People. Dying.

Torture. At least a whole chapter of torture. As we progress, though, we are talking both mental, physical and emotional torture.

Citywide poisoning.

Hoboes.

More orgies.

Hoboes orgying for strongly plot-related reasons.

Raw chicken.

A Hell Duke named Joe.

Laurel scented personal use lubricant.

Dwarven prostitutes.

Actually, allll kinds of prostitutes. A whole gaudy temple of them, all races, sizes, ages, genders, kinks, you name it. …It's very egalitarian.

Hell-planes cults engaging in child murder. ...Among other atrocities (see basically everything else on this list and then add nineteen extra items from the putrid depths of your darkest soul). If they were nice people, they wouldn't be worshipping devils and demons, right?

Clowns.

Puns.

Alcohol and some drunkenness. …A lot less than you'd think, however. I'm slightly surprised at this.

Singing.

…Ehh, blood drinking. Yes, that's probably a trigger I should warn about. Though it is for nutritional purposes. I mean, that's a meal when you have a condition like vampirism, right? What else would you eat? It is pretty conditionist to food-shame people because they have a condition.

Bondage?

And I think some kind of sex swing is used incorrectly somewhere in a scene at a dwarven brothel.

…

Wait, am I doing it right?

…

Just asked around. I'm apparently doing it wrong. Trigger warnings are not meant to lure in readers.

Fine. Be that way…

Trigger warning: Poorly written trigger warnings.

*

Reverse trigger warning:

Oddly, this work of fiction contains zero mention of cannibalism. Except here. But really, that's it. No more cannibalism forthcoming. If that's what you're here for, sorry, but no cigar. And I mean metaphorically-actual cigars, not some sort of pun on cannibalism and "cigars" because there's no cannibalism in the story.

No cannibalism.

Happy reading!
