Countless lives must be siphoned from the downtrodden to feed the great engine at the heart of the city and fuel a miracle like no other.</p> <p>The winds across the city carry omens, whispers of a new apocalypse soon to fall.</p> <p>Unless someone stops it.</p> <p>In the gutters of the city, Avo, a ghoul by creation and a ghost-hacker by trade, finds himself resurrected from the clutch of death and bestowed with a mission. Tasked by a father he long thought dead to save a city that despises him for his very existence, he must rise to stop the usurpation of reality.</p> <p>The odds are long and his foes are many. With deceit and danger lurking across every corner of the city, only by learning from his deaths and grafting newer and greater eldritch gods onto his being can he reach apotheosis and avert certain damnation.</p> <p>Yet, as he ascends to claim the mantle of divinity, a question lingers: what kind of god will he become...</p> <p>Chapters will usually be around 2.5 to 3k words and updates daily at the present.</p> <p>Declaimer: Expect detailed descriptions of violence, cannibalism, and cursing.</p> <p>If you develop a sudden outbreak of rash after reading Godclads, it's not the story.
