<p>It was only after Ray died, that he found a life worth living.</p> <p>Ray was just going through the motions when his life ended. Employed as an actor in the world's largest MMO, minimum-wage hell had become the norm. Among the millions of actors in Swords & Sorcery, Ray was at the bottom of the totem pole, stuck playing as a damsel-in-distress.</p> <p>When his apartment explodes during his shift, he finds himself trapped in the body of an NPC Damsel. Only, this Damsel can fight!</p> <p>It doesn't take long for the players, the S&S execs, and even the other actors, to turn against Ray as he tries to make the best of his new life. Within days, the damsel known as Ray is enemy number one, and the hunt is on. Only by finding allies, forming new friendships, and creating a world-class guild, can Ray survive and thrive…because he's only got one more chance to live.</p> <p>Schedule: Chapter a day, Mon - Friday...forever?</p> <p>What to expect :</p> <p>Note: Some of these take a while to show up, but they will!</p> <p>- VR MMO with actual stakes- litRPG elements that don't interfere with the action- No irrelevant, outside-world chapters (He stuck in this b****)- Player vs player (PvP) action- Dungeons and raids where a wipe means real death for MC- Gear-based power spikes- Guild and Guildhall building - PvP and PvE fights over contested lands- Faction wars- Guild wars- Pretty much everyone wants to kill the MC- Liberal cursing and plenty of gore- Killing a lot of things (see: plenty of gore)- Local and world events- Humor with a touch of nihilism- A sexually harassing A.I. who puts on a tough exterior but is really a sweetheart in disguise (he made me say that)</p> <p>What not to expect:</p> <p>- MC who adapts instantly and starts murderhobo-ing everyone with no regard for his own safety (That comes later)- Harems or sex (nothing past second-base kiddos)- Immediately OP MC (he's got to work at it, despite certain advantages)</p>
