Empires against empires. Pirates raid and merchant guilds create their own city-state-armies to fight back. Blood runs like rainwater across continents. But amidst their strife lie forgotten memories. Ancient foes that lurk beyond a veil and dormant gates—locked away behind walls of vast removes. </p> <p> And like worms the creatures from the darkness burrow through the veil, hungry for vengeance against the children of those who drove them away in ages past. So the world wakes it's heroes once more, from memory and songs. For what better way to remind those who have forgotten but through memories from the past, the songs the children sing and melodies the bards play? </p> <p> </p> <p> - All artworks used in this novel were created by me and belong to me. </p> <p> </p>
