<p>What if I told you that dragons existed? With me so far?</p> <p>Now, what if I told you that there were a group of dragons that watched over everyone: no matter what race you are, where you are from or your status in your town?</p> <p>These dragons are known as Guardians and I'm going to tell you a series of stories of one who was famously, infamously depending on who you asked, known as The Orphaned Guardian.</p> <p>This is just the first of his stories in a strange forest: a forest that surrounds not only elven villages and human villages, but also medieval towns with kings and queens and a city in the modern age...and many more. No one knows why this forest has so many villages in various time periods...not even the Guardians themselves. All they know: it is a dangerous place that constantly needs a Guardian watching over it. But...that's enough of about that.</p> <p>------------------------------------------</p> <p>Anthony (that's The Orphaned Guardian), has just arrived in the forest and is flying around to get aquainted with his new task when he encounters Vera, a young girl of about 15, getting chased through the forest by a group of angry people from her village. Turns out: she's being framed for kidnapping children from their homes. What she doesn't know is that it's not only human children being taken over the years...which is what permits Anthony to get involved.</p> <p>Can Anthony find out who took them and clear Vera's name at the same time? Who is taking them in the first place and why are they taking them?
