<p>I had a name, one that I took pride in having. I had a family, one I was glad to be in. I had a life, one that I lived to the fullest.</p> <p>I lost those the day I died.</p> <p>But I did not go to heaven or hell, nor did I reincarnate as an animal or another person. No, what greeted me instead was an eldritch abomination that intended to eat me.</p> <p>I escaped of course, but that left me wandering in the void of space. Unable to speak nor interact with the world as I was all but a consciousness within the vast nothingness.</p> <p>I watched civilizations rise and fall, I watched humanity leave the earth and extend its reach into the beyond. I watched how our sun turned into a red sun and how the earth was engulfed in flames.</p> <p>I stood and watched, as I was unable to do anything, for billions of years.</p> <p>Maybe trillions.</p> <p>When the stars died out and the age of blackholes began I truly believed that life had no meaning, and that I would be forced to watch the end of my universe forever.</p> <p>But as it turns out, Gods exist.</p> <p>Now that opens up a lot of possibilities.</p> <p>------</p> <p>This is my first book so expect a few plot holes there, a few grammar mistake here, and maybe a few not-so-well-written characters.
