<p>In a land where magic flows in everything, Phoenix was born, a boy who shouldn't even exist. At seventeen, tired of being confined to a castle and pitied by even the maids and their children, he runs away, seeking an oracle to answer his questions and give him magic. Realizing early on that his inexperience made him a target, he hires a young girl to guide him. She has no name, no family and no right arm but what she has are the skills and knowledge necessary to take him where he needs to go and an air about her that feels… familiar.
