You know Aesop's fables? Yeah, like "The Tortoise and the Hare."

Well, imagine if Aesop's Fables got together with "A Thousand and One Arabian Nights" and decided to make a new creation...

Meet PARABLES:

Set in the desert continent of Wa Madul, this series of short, fantasy fables was created to spark imagination and consistent creative insight. While each one is designed to be readable on its own, the fables together weave a world and storyline that is full of adventure, intrigue and magic.

Enjoy!

A note from Jack:

Hi there,

Jack here.

The purpose of this project is to push me to pursue wisdom every day by writing a useful lesson for my future self. I learn easier in the context of stories, and so the parables are designed to give these lessons the right emotional notes to sink in.

I think that this process will also encourage me to grow into a better writer and storyteller.

So, in a sense, I'm writing these parables for myself.

But they're also for you reading this. I'm publishing them because I think that maybe someday a person might stumble upon one of these little snippets and find it useful. Just by happenstance.

So, whatever meaning they bring to you - whether it's enjoyment from the reading or an insight from one of the lessons...

Maybe take a closer look.

It could be what you were looking for.

Sending joy,

Jack
