Everyone knows the story of how a Chosen Hero from Earth is summoned to fight against a great and terrible Evil. What happens when there is no terrible evil, the summoners are just as bad as the threat, or the Earther is just seen as tool to be used and tossed aside?

The Terran Otherworldly Advocacy League was formed by previous victims of summoning abuse who vowed to put a stop to it once and for all. In an infinite multiverse with Worlds whose cultures and moralities range from that of a Fairytale to utter Grimdark, the brave members of T.O.A.L put their skills to the test to find cases of summoning abuse wherever it may be and put a stop to it.

At the forefront of most of these missions is Artyom Choi, one of T.O.A.L's founding members and captain of the Terran Defense League, the military branch of the organization. His latest mission is to investigate the presence of Earth culture in a World where there has been no sign of any Earther summonings in fear that a new, undetectable method of summoning has been discovered. Despite this World being ranked as one of the most innocent around, Artyom still carries much emotional baggage and cynicism from his previous countless missions to some of the most morally corrupt Worlds out there. Will Artyom be able to fulfill his mission while harboring such misanthropy, or will the innocence of this world rekindle his faith in the the multiverse?

Quick disclaimer: Partway through the story, it might start to feel like the story is headed towards being a very generic isekai power fantasy, but I urge you to stick around until at least chapter 14-15 where things start to change, and it might recapture your interest!

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]
