Reed, bored of the drudgery and monotony of modern life, unexpectedly wakes up in a mysterious fantasy world where all his dreams of becoming a powerful, magic wielding hero can become reality. All that stands in his way are a bunch of smelly goblins and that his only belongings are his flimsy, dinosaur print, cotton pyjamas.

Unfortunately for Reed, it seems dreams alone aren't enough to survive the dangerous depths of monster filled dungeons. He'll need courage, intelligence, skill, and most importantly trusty companions if he is ever to accomplish his goal of becoming an S rank adventurer, let alone the hero he dreams to be.

About this novel:

This is my attempt at creating an internally consistent and believable, crunchy LitRPG fantasy Isekai novel to finally fill the void I've always had for a story of that nature. That means I literally have an excel spreadsheet with different formulas set up for calculating damage; stat sheets for monsters (that I may one day release); and agonise for way too many hours over exactly how many percentage points ability buffs should improve to not be OP and "game breaking".

This is also my attempt to write a damn good story that people love. Obviously, you'll have to be the judge of that. With that in mind I am not making this story up as I go as I know I work better with a plan. I have the entire book from beginning to end mostly mapped out, and I promise it will end.

I also want to be clear that while elements of romance will appear in this story this is an action, adventure, comedy at its core. It will not be a romance story, nor a harem story. Ninety-nine percent of this novel will have nothing to do with romance and the few times it appears are just there to move certain plot points along.

Finally, this is also my first attempt at writing any novel. So, bare that in mind when reading too!

If all this sounds like something you'd enjoy reading, then please come along for the ride!
