Moving out on her own should be simple, but Ysyla Wyanda's friend, Tsen, is getting in the way. Trouble is, he isn't from Hedentia - which is impossible, but she saw him fall from the Vault with her own two eyes.

And his eyes, not to mention his ears, would be pretty hard to explain to her family, or any one else, too.

Not that it matters. Since Ysyla is the only one who can see him, introducing him around isn't an option. And the thought of leaving him all alone - no she doesn't want to do that.

But she needs to make up her mind - and she's sure that he's keeping things from her ...

That's it, then. Before she decides on anything else, he has to tell her the whole story. *** Vonought has awakened and there's no doubt in his mind - the plan's been rearranged. Hedentia's itinerary is out of whack, and that's not all ... But the Gods aren't being straight with him, and worse, there's a time limit on whatever it is they have up their sleeves.

So whether the powers-that-be explain or not, now he has a deadline to meet. It isn't much, but he knows the first thing on the schedule hasn't changed. However it plays out, the chosen ones still have to come in ...

Note:

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge]

For sure, this is going up fast, so I'd be grateful for any comments and feedback on typos and the like, TIA for putting up with it and taking the time to read!
