Alemayehu (Amharic/East African, "I have seen the world") Temitope (Yoruba/West African, "enough to give thanks") and Chae-Won (Sino-Korean, chae: "collect, gather, pluck", won: "source, origin, beginning") Choi (Korean, "high, lofty, towering") exist as childhood friends.

When their paths diverge on Earth and then both reunite on another world, one as a goddess and the other as the summoned one of the other, could their friendship stay the same? Will Alemayehu (aka, Maya) be able to help her friend Chae-Won (aka, Shay) in a certain task?

Or will this world, one which is already broken with a plague of undead to an apocalyptic level, be the death of one or both of them?

This story was formerly started and then stopped by another author; here I am attempting to pick it up and continue it, by first rewriting it with a lot more ero scenery. The name meanings, I am told, come from https://www.behindthename.com/; these characters' names are intended to mean something to the story; and so I shall attempt to make it work too.
