These three past years had been hell, but Dylan was now ready to reap the rewards.

Awakening Day was happening tomorrow. Finally, he'd be able to wield magic, akin to the magic heroes he'd seen on TV. He'd bend the elements, summon beings from other planes of existence, use arcane magic to look into the past and the future; the possibilities were endless.

Or he'd waste away in a magic factory for the rest of his irrelevant life.

But even that didn't matter to him. Sure, he loved the prospect of becoming a magician and a sorcerer.

What he didn't like, was interdimensional abduction.

He didn't belong here. He was forcefully abducted from his normal life and sent into an echo of his real world.

He'd find a way to escape this messed up universe, no matter the cost.

This story tries to be 'realistic', as much as an urban fantasy setting with... magic lets it be.

What I mean by that, is that our protagonist is by no means overpowered and will, in fact, struggle in this forced tale.

Essentially, its a coming of age story about magic, rivalries, friendship and inevitable teen angst.
