<p>'A storm is building up again' I think out loud and sigh… it's been like this ever since I first made camp, a few hours of calm and then the storm follows… as if they're playing a game of cat and mouse and I'm caught in the middle. I reckon I have just enough time to find a decent spot to weather the storm, unlike yesterday…
Funny now that I think about it, I had to dig a meter deep hole for myself… with my hands, and make a makeshift igloo to block the winds, it just fell on top of me though, didn't get much sleep. I breathe a breath of relief, knowing that I wouldn't have to relive that experience again, wasn't pleasant in the least.
Having finally found a suitable place to make camp, just besides a meter high crescent shaped hill of snow. I take my ice axe and probe the snow underneath, making sure there are no jagged rocks, satisfied; I begin to dig a shallow platform using my ice axe as a makeshift shovel, just as a precaution to face the strong winds. If I knew the weather would be this bad I would have brought an avalanche shovel, too bad. After letting the ground harden for a few minutes I begin pitching the tent, being able to afford to take my time is appreciated as I finally finish up.
I boil some water for my instant noodles and wash it down with some green tea right after. Preparing my camera I put another segment of my experience here to film for my Clam, after a brief summary of my day I turn the camera off, crawl into my sleeping bag and slowly succumb to sleep. </p> <p>_________________________________________________________________________________________</p> <p>Well, the prologue to a new story and a new world is upon us.
