I was born to a life confined to a chair, never dreaming of sports and never desiring friends. With a traitorous body that kept me imprisoned, I strove to improve myself in the only way I could. Knowledge was my drug, and being right, my passion.

The concept of faith in a loving creator, enraged me. So, I set out to prove or disprove the unwarranted faith of the various religions. It was to be my response to the sallow platitudes of my lessers that had plagued me all of my life.

And I succeeded! I won! I found our creators. Great beings beyond anything as relatable as the fictions perpetrated on our world.

I saw them, and they saw me. And they punished me for my hubris. Or maybe they rewarded me. I won't pretend to understand the ways of these hidden masters.

I found myself on a new world, given a second lease on life, and I didn't plan to squander it. Here there were other gods. Gods of flesh and blood that ruled through power and might. They were little petty beings and I was not about to let them stand over me.

Named after the greatest king my world has ever known, I am Alexander of MIT!

…and this is my story.
