Superhumans flying on skyboards while running from the military.

Massive air warships blasting away at each other.

Teenage drama and romance, a dance as old as time.

Werewolves, oh my!

Chapter release days are Saturdays and Wednesdays.

Summary:

In a world and time much similar to ours, where technology rules and magic is a myth, a prophecy was unveiled. Cayro, a high school graduate and avid skyboarder looking to go to college, and Star, a girl forced to live as a rogue onboard an infamous rogue military airship, collide together by unforeseen circumstances.

Thrust into a life he never wanted, Cayro discovers that he is more than human. Learning who he truly is, Star has to accept him, or face dire consequences. Together, they must find a way to accept who they truly are while traversing into a realm of shadows that they never knew existed.

While ruthlessly pursued by the U.S. Military for information held within their bodies, they must seek help from those in the shadows in hopes that they can survive. But the question remains: Do those in the shadows hold the key to their salvation or their demise?

NOTES FROM THE AUTHOR:

(Book 1 is complete and being released overtime so that I can work on book 2. Dragon Fleet is a side story that follows Star and Cayro's companion, Lyra Acosta. I am actively writing it for the Writathon. It gives a lot of spoilers that occur in Project: Cayro. As a fair warning, Project: Cayro is a slower story because it will be three books and is the beginning of the world in which is being built and is written to show multiple points of view. When I began this story back in 2007, I imagined it as an anime or movie where the reader sees more than just one- or two-character points of view. So, pay attention to the top each chapter so you don't get confused or thrown off.)
