While lost cities from his happier days can still be found, traumas and other abominations are spreading their vile influence. To survive, Adam must face his own past, for Caine recalls people and events quite differently indeed…</p> <p>In his refusal to die, Adam even allows his whispering left heart to help him. For he'll gladly take the sinister risks involved if it means he can rescue his wife and son. However, will they even want Adam to, after Caine altered their memories to love himself instead?</p> <p>What to expect:</p> <p>- Characters from a rich fantasy world are transported to a different fantasy world which embodies another character's memory. - The focus of the story is on plot, combat, banter between old friends, and figuring out how the memory world and its magic system work. - Not a LitRPG story. - Chapters are usually around 2000 words. - During the first weeks, I'll post a chapter on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Afterwards, I'll post one chapter per week. - Later on, I'll publish the first set of chapters as Book 1: A Labyrinth of Memories.</p>
