Nothing like a System Apocalypse to get a man out of a rut.

It was a typical November evening when the world ended. Dirk was just minding his own business, hammering together a homemade Ninja Warrior course, when the System message appeared. Only, this wasn't your typical System Apocalypse. No spells, no interface, and no tutorial. Just a pack of demons racing down the street and that fateful line:

> ...historical data among adjacent species suggests an attrition rate of 97.374% over the duration of the Climb... <

Less than 3% survival. Eh, he's faced worse odds. With nothing but a won't quit attitude and a little help from Fate herself, Dirk was ready to tackle this Apocalypse head on.Now, if only he could figure out how to unlock his interface…

What to expect

- Time loops baby. If you don't like the MC using his limited Time Loops like a goober, stay clear. Time magic growing pains are real. But once he gets the hang of it, the emphasis is on planning and optimizing the loops (think the Perfect Run).- A talking goose companion. He's an idiot—dangerously so sometimes (fair warning). But he's damn lovable, too, so fight me on that. - A loner MC forced into a party. Found-family tropes ensue. The feels come, but it's a slow emotional burn to get there. If you enjoy a tough-skinned MC slowly peeling back his layers to that soft-gooey core, try this story. - Class and Affinity based abilities. Think abilities based around intimidation, illusions, elements, physics—even baking—it's all here. But the MC is the highlight with the coolest abilities. The side characters mostly shine in the periphery of the MC. - If you got this far and you're not sold, thanks for dropping by and maybe I'll learn how to write better blurbs in the future—blurbs are harder than writing a story and that's a fact.

Chapters average out to ~3k words

Schedule: MWF

Chapter Pings on Discord: https://discord.gg/tts7NCDK9J
