Living in a failing economy and being possessed by a nihilistic worldview does not stop Meika from pursuing AI VTubing—and accidentally creating a fully conscious AI. Mane-chan, born with all the knowledge of humanity in her head, has a singular and paramount directive: to dedicate herself to VTubing. World domination ensues—after all, what's better for a VTuber than to have the world as her captive audience?</p> <p>Directly inspired by the existence of Neuro-sama, a real AI VTuber, and set in the closing years of these 2020's, "The AI Overlord is a VTuber" is a fun what-if of the path exponentially-progressing AI technology might take.
