<p>Janet suspects that the most infamous person in all of history might have been her father. She was abandoned as a child and has grown up an orphan, but she too, just like the infamous Demon, possesses magic that devours souls.</p> <p>Yeah, pretty heavy stuff.</p> <p>The churches and adventurers hunted the Demon down and turned him into a scary bedtime story. Does Janet want to end up like him? Of course not.</p> <p>So, she hides her magic and lives as a squib until some stupid cult tries to sacrifice her. Then… then she devours without mercy.</p> <p>Now that the secret is out, she must get the hell out of Dodge, hide her trail as best she can, and try to learn normal people magic so she fits in better among them.</p> <p>Most importantly, she must try not to get killed by everything out there that's quite literally more powerful than her. No normal people magic, remember?</p> <p>Will Janet become an additional footnote to her father's tale, or will she live long enough that they make a book out of her riveting escapades?</p> <p>Join Janet's adventure as she tries to adapt to life as a normie while she samples the occasional soul here and there.
