<p>Alex suddenly found himself on the scorching sands of a gladiator arena with enemies hell-bent on killing him. Bewildered and afraid, he picked up the closest weapon he could find, which just so happened to be a shield.</p> <p>The new world he was summoned to is vastly different from Earth. Magic exists. Runes grant people incredible powers and abilities. Nearly everyone has a level and a class. There are enchanted weapons and armor, floating dungeons, violent invasions, magical beasts, and powerful gods.</p> <p>He'll have to master his new weapons and Runic Powers if he wants to survive long enough to find a way back home.
